Role Overview:

We are looking for a highly hands-on and delivery-focused HR Tech Solutions Product Owner to drive the design, configuration, and continuous improvement of our Workday platform and broader HR technology landscape. In this role, you will work closely with our Workday SME, HR teams, IT, and external partners to ensure that system changes are delivered effectively, accurately, and on time.

This is a critical execution role that requires strong functional expertise, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to translate business requirements into system solutions that meet both immediate needs and long-term scalability.

What you will do

  • Own the delivery and execution of Workday system changes, configurations, and enhancements across multiple modules (e.g., Core HCM, Compensation, Absence, Recruiting, Talent, Learning).
  • Translate HR and business requirements into functional designs and Workday configurations, working closely with the Workday SME and relevant stakeholders.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of system changes and related small to medium-sized projects, including requirements gathering, configuration, testing, documentation, training, deployment and oversight of associated budgets.
  • Actively configure Workday directly, including business processes, security roles, calculated fields, condition rules, and reporting.
  • Partner with IT and vendors to coordinate integrations, data loads, security updates, and system performance issues.
  • Support Workday release management: analyze new features, assess impacts, lead testing, and drive adoption of relevant functionality.
  • Provide day-to-day support and troubleshooting for HR system issues, working closely with the HR Operations teams to resolve queries promptly.
  • Maintain system documentation, data integrity controls, audit logs, and compliance standards.
  • Ensure robust change management processes are followed for all system updates.

Who you are:

  • Significant hands-on Workday configuration experience across multiple modules — this is a build and configure role, not just oversight.
  • Proven track record delivering system changes, enhancements, and optimizations in Workday in a global or multi-country environment.
  • Deep understanding of HR processes, data structures, security models, and system dependencies.
  • Strong collaboration skills — able to work cross-functionally with HR, IT, vendors, and other stakeholders.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities, delivering under tight timelines, and proactively addressing issues.
  • Workday certifications or advanced Workday configuration training strongly preferred.
  • Experience working in agile or iterative delivery environments is a plus.
