The Role

We are looking for a new HR Manager to join our collaborative global team. Our People Partnering team work in partnership with our leaders across LiveScore Group to align business goals with people strategy. The role will also collaborate across our Talent Acquisition, People Operations and People Growth teams; designing and delivering people solutions that drive each areas objectives and ensuring our employees flourish.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted advisor, offering thought leadership to Senior Leadership Team members on all people-related matters
  • Represent people as part of the local leadership teams for both Gibraltar and Malta
  • Use people-related data to guide decision making
  • Coach managers on leading and managing their teams with an emphasis on emotional intelligence
  • Partner with managers to solve complex Employee Relations cases and address the root cause of these
  • Support leaders through the performance management cycle to embed a high-performance culture within their teams
  • Work with Senior Leaders to build strategic people plans that align with LiveScore Groups business goals
  • Support workforce planning
  • Work with the People Team on a range of people projects, policy development and company initiatives
  • Partner with People Operations to ensure accurate people data, administration and compliance with Employment & Training Bureau
  • Partner with People Growth to ensure that we lead the way on culture and people development 

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

  • Experience as a commercially focused People Partner / HR Manager
  • Proven ability in challenging stakeholders via coaching, mentoring and the use of data
  • Leading people projects with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Excellent stakeholder management and cross-team collaboration
  • Adaptable and resilient – a resourceful trouble shooter when faced with unexpected challenges
  • Solid understanding of Gibraltar employment law and curious to explore and learn relevant employment law for locations outside of Gibraltar as part of our global team. Knowledge on Maltese employment law in particular would also be advantageous
  • Proven ability in managing complex employee relations cases independently
  • Proactive and a can-do attitude
  • Knowledgeable on best practice people activity and passion for continuous learning and improvement
  • Prior experience in a matrix environment would be advantageous
