As a people partner, you will work closely with the - Tech, Product, Finance, and Legal teams to shape their people and talent strategies, while helping to maintain and strengthen the innovative, tech-focused culture that has been established.
What you’d work on!
- Partner with the Tech, Product, Finance, and Legal teams to drive OKRs and align people strategies accordingly
- Work with team leadership to understand departmental objectives and lead projects that support both business and team needs.
- Implement strategies that enhance employee engagement, job satisfaction, and overall team morale.
- Provide support during periods of change, such as organisational restructuring, technology adoption, cultural shifts, or process improvements.
- Work with managers to set clear performance expectations and goals for team members.
- Collaborate with managers and the L&D Team to implement development plans focused on skill enhancement and career progression.
- Provide ER guidance with empathy and a focus on upskilling managers, proactively addressing concerns to minimize escalations.
- Guide managers and team members through performance appraisals, ensuring fair, objective evaluations and constructive feedback.
- Serve as the primary contact for employees’ concerns, feedback, and suggestions, addressing them appropriately.
- Collect and analyse HR metrics and trends to identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare regular reports on key people-related metrics and present findings to leadership.
- Collaborate closely with the Chief People Officer to support strategic decisions at the executive level.
- Partner with the Tech Recruiter on workforce planning, including identifying skill gaps and proposing solutions.
As a People Partner, you will have:
- Proven experience in People/HRBP roles supporting Tech teams (and agile methodology) in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments.
- Knowledge and experience in risk and regulatory environments, with the ability to navigate and ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal controls.
- Must possess credibility and gravitas, with the ability to command respect and influence at all levels of the organization, ensuring effective leadership and trust in people-related decisions.
- Strong business acumen with exceptional consultative and relationship-building skills, enabling the ability to collaborate effectively, solve complex problems, and provide valuable insights to inform people-related decisions.
- A strong preference for managing high-performing teams, with a passion for excellence and driving teams to reach their full potential
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into impactful decision-making.
- Experience or a strong capacity to work within regulated environments.
- High adaptability, empathy, and a focus on delivering a great employee experience with a problem-solving mindset.
- Experience supporting teams globally across different geographies.
