The Opportunity:

Our People Operations team is looking for a Germany-based People Operations Partner, in either Munich or Berlin, to join its dynamic team on a parental leave replacement contract. This role will support the German entity and assist with global operations, with a focus on shaping operational and administrative HR processes. As the company grows, this role will also help streamline HR processes and support automation initiatives.

This role offers a hybrid work environment with three days a week in our local office.

This position is a fix-term one year contract, with potential for extension based on business needs.

Your Mission:

  • Be the primary HR contact for employees based in Germany
  • Prepare payroll for the German entity and collaborate with external payroll providers
  • Manage relationships with benefit providers
  • Assist in optimizing and automating HR processes to increase efficiency as the company scales
  • Ensure HR policies and processes stay compliant with local regulations and evolve with business needs
  • Handle employee administration, including contracts, onboarding, and offboarding, ensuring smooth and compliant processes
  • Support the People Operations team with various HR initiatives and projects across the organization

What you need to succeed:

  • Knowledge of German labor and social security laws
  • Experience in assisting with payroll preparation in Germany
  • Understanding of People Analytics or the ability to work with numbers
  • Strong focus on providing great service to employees
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
  • A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Fluency in German and English, both spoken and written
