As the Global People Operations Coordinator, you will deliver efficient, accurate and employee-centric support across the full employee lifecycle. Acting as the first point of contact for People queries, you will play a critical role in ensuring smooth global onboarding, offboarding, payroll coordination and day-to-day People Operations administration across the UK, US, Germany and EOR populations via Deel.
Operating at the core of global People Operations, you will ensure compliance, data integrity and operational excellence while supporting a high-quality employee experience across multiple jurisdictions. This role requires strong attention to detail, operational rigour and the ability to manage complexity in a fast-paced, global environment.
YOUR CHALLENGES & OPPORTUNITIES- Global Onboarding & Offboarding Excellence - Coordinate end-to-end onboarding across UK, US, Germany and EOR employees via Deel, including contracts, documentation and system setup. Manage administrative aspects of global offboarding including resignations, terminations, documentation, system access removal and final payroll coordination, ensuring a seamless and compliant employee experience.
- First-Line People Support - Act as the first point of contact for employee and manager queries, providing timely and accurate guidance on policies, processes and lifecycle changes, escalating complex Employee Relations or compliance matters where appropriate.
- Payroll Coordination & Accuracy - Support monthly payroll processes by preparing and validating payroll inputs (new joiners, leavers, salary changes, bonuses) across multiple jurisdictions. Liaise with Finance, payroll providers and Deel to ensure payroll accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
- Data Integrity & Compliance - Maintain accurate employee records across HRIS and People systems, ensuring GDPR compliance and audit-ready documentation. Support global compliance requirements by aligning processes with local employment practices across the UK, US, Germany and EOR frameworks.
- Employee Documentation & Benefits Administration - Prepare and issue contracts, letters, amendments and lifecycle documentation. Coordinate benefits administration and respond to employee queries relating to benefits and payroll.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration - Partner with Talent Acquisition, Hiring Managers and IT to ensure a seamless pre-boarding and onboarding experience. Support HR audits, reporting and People data requests including headcount, attrition and onboarding metrics.
- Continuous Improvement & Operational Excellence - Track onboarding and offboarding checklists and documentation, identify process improvement opportunities, and enhance automation and efficiency across People Operations. Contribute to wider People team initiatives and operational projects in a dynamic, global environment.
OUR EXPECTATIONS
- Early Career People Operations Experience – 1-2 years’ experience in People Operations, HR Administration or HR Coordinator roles within a global organisation.
- UK HR Expertise - Mandatory experience supporting UK employees, with a solid understanding of UK employment practices and employee lifecycle processes.
- Global Exposure - Experience supporting multiple jurisdictions (UK, US, Germany and/or EOR providers such as Deel highly desirable).
- Payroll & Lifecycle Knowledge - Strong understanding of onboarding, offboarding and payroll coordination across the employee lifecycle.
- Systems & Process Orientation - Experience using HRIS platforms (HiBob and Deel highly desirable) with a systems-driven mindset and commitment to data accuracy and process integrity.
- Collaborative & Agile Approach - Comfortable operating in an agile, “all-hands-on-deck” People team, with the flexibility to reprioritise and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication & Emotional Intelligence - Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels in a professional, empathetic and service-oriented manner.
- Attention to Detail & Discretion - High level of accuracy and organisation, with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with integrity, sound judgement and discretion.
