The People Operations Associate is responsible for supporting and enhancing the employee experience at Caseware. You will help us develop best-in-class processes and ensure our employees know they’re our most valuable asset. Supporting all aspects of the People Operations function, you’ll have the opportunity to support a variety of functions – from day-to-day activity to larger projects and initiatives.
You will be supporting:

âť— This role is hybrid and is open to Maidstone, UK residents. You will be required to work from our office 3 days a week.
What you will be doing:
Onboarding:
- Write offer
- Launch ticket, coordinate equipment
- Partner with payroll on all pay and benefit details (e.g. base pay, commission plans, etc.)
- Send welcome package
- Send welcome email 5 days prior to new hires start date
- Conduct Onboarding Sessions
- Complete background check (TA team to provide to POps Associate)
- Create bamboo profile
- Salary, reporting manager, direct reports, vacation entitlement, set vacation rules, upload all documents (Offer letter, JD, Background Check Screenshot + Resume will need to be in Bamboo)
- Ensure all policies/onboarding documents have been signed off
- 30/90 Check ins:
- -Launch surveys
- -Conduct 1:1 check ins to gain more insights
- -Analyze data and report back to HRBPs
Offboarding:
- Launch ticket, coordinate closure of accounts and access
- Calculate last pay and partner with payroll; i.e. vacation accrual payments, commission payments, etc.
- Exit interviews:
- Collect equipment
- Create low risk plan and execute for sensitive exits
- Coordinate benefit termination
- Create offboarding checklist via Bamboo
-Launch survey
-Conduct exit interview to gain more insights
-Analyze data and report back to HRBPs
BambooHR - owner and auditor, process:
- All employee changes
- Salary changes and bonus entries
- Monthly/quarterly audit to maintain integrity of data
- Reporting and data
Policies:
- Creator and owner of all policies:
-E.G. health and safety, employee handbook
-Coordinating policy sign off through BambooHR and in onboarding packet
Employee relations and Support:
- Employment verifications, vacation questions, policy questions
- Follow up with Teams #askpeopleops
Employee Engagement:
- 30/90 day check ins
- Weekly employee pulse
- Analyse data
- Taking part in employee engagement initiatives
- Co-ordinating and supporting employee engagement activities
Interns/Coops:
- Support all stages of onboarding and offboarding for interns/coops
Culture:
- Culture committee member
- Help with arranging and hosting company events – UK in person, virtual events globally.
Office Management:
- Coffee Machine Maintenance- ordering stock, basic cleaning
- Supplies- shopping for office groceries and supplies
- Cleaning- overseeing the cleaning, reporting any issues, monthly meetings with the cleaning supervisor
Monthly reporting:
- HR to Payroll file- UK
- HR to Payroll file- Denmark
- Headcount reports
- Time off reports
Health & Safety:
- Risk assessments
- First aiders
What you will bring:
- 1-3 years of experience in a generalist HR role, preferably within the UK market.
- Knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships across teams.
- Organised with an ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in administration.
- A proactive, can-do attitude with a passion for people and continuous improvement.
- A relevant HR qualification (CIPD Level 3 or above) is desirable but not essential.
- Familiarity with HR software and systems is a plus.
