For 30 years we’ve been independently developing and publishing incredible video games at our multiple studios founded by Jason & Chris Kingsley, but Rebellion is more than just games. We have our own film studio, we create board games, publish books, and through 2000AD, publish comics and graphic novels such as the amazing Judge Dredd. 

We are on the lookout for a People Operations Advisor to join our passionate People & Talent Team on a 12-month fixed-term contract!

The People Operations Advisor is responsible for delivering a high-quality, efficient and employee-focused HR operations service across the organisation. Working as part of the People Team, you will ensure that HR processes are delivered consistently, accurately and in line with UK employment legislation and company policies.

In this role you will take ownership of key areas of the employee lifecycle, maintain accurate HR records and systems, support reporting and people data requirements, and identify opportunities to improve HR processes and the overall employee experience. This is a hands-on role requiring strong organisational skills, attention to detail, sound employment law knowledge and the confidence to work with employees and managers at all levels.

This is a 12-month fixed-term contract role based at our riverside headquarters in Oxford, offering a creative and relaxed atmosphere where teamwork drives our success.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate HR processes across the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding through to offboarding.
  • Ensure employee records, contracts, HR systems and documentation are accurate, complete and maintained in a timely manner.
  • Prepare and issue employment documentation including contracts, contract variations, letters and other HR correspondence.
  • Manage changes to employee terms and conditions, working arrangements, promotions, transfers and other contractual changes.
  • Coordinate probation reviews and ensure appropriate actions are followed through.
  • Support the effective management of absence, family leave, flexible working and other employee lifecycle processes.
  • Ensure leaver processes are completed accurately and consistently, including appropriate documentation and system updates.
  • Provide advice and guidance to managers and employees on HR policies, processes and procedures.

Requirements
  • Previous experience in an HR Advisor, HR Operations or similar HR generalist role.
  • Good working knowledge of UK employment legislation.
  • Experience managing HR processes across the employee lifecycle.
  • Experience supporting employee relations matters.
  • Experience using HRIS and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace or equivalent systems.
  • The ability to manage confidential and sensitive information appropriately.
  • CIPD qualification is desirable.
