1. High-Level Summary

We are seeking a capable and detail-oriented People Data Transformation Analyst to join our HR team. This role will report to the People Data Transformation Manager and contribute to the evolution of our people analytics capability. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in HR, a curious and analytical approach to their work, and clear and insightful communication style. This is a dynamic role that will evolve as our analytics maturity grows, offering opportunities to work on strategic initiatives and advanced analytical projects.

2. Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to business-as-usual (BAU) queries related to understanding our people data with accuracy and clarity.
  • Support HR data project workstreams across ongoing HR initiatives, ensuring alignment between programmes and a HR data ‘voice’ in the development of our broader function.
  • Engage with global data stakeholders and share data expertise and techniques to cultivate a data driven culture across the wider HR team
  • Liaise with the Group Data team to implement and uphold a consistent HR data taxonomy and governance framework.
  • Ensure updates to key people data structures are accurately reflected in the master people data.
  • Contribute to the evolution of people analytics capabilities, including:
    • Turnover and retention analysis
    • Employee listening and sentiment analysis
    • Time-to-event and survival analysis
    • Predictive analytics and modelling

3. Candidate Skills and Experience

Essential

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively while maintaining exemplary attention to detail under time pressure.
  • A solution-driven mindset and ability to think creatively to solve problems.
  • Strong analytical thinking and ability to simplify complex concepts to senior audiences.
  • The ability to look at data and answer the ‘so what’ question around the data being presented.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; calm, approachable, friendly and collaborative.
  • Discrete, diplomatic and able to deal with highly confidential information.
  • Teachable and flexible with a growth mindset.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Driven by deadlines/reliably delivers against deadlines.
  • Ability to present complex data insights in a clear, concise, and visually compelling format.

Preferred

  • 2-3 years’ experience working in an HR function (especially people analytics) within a large global or matrixed organisation.
  • An understanding of Workday HR data and key structures.
  • Academic background in a statistically rigorous discipline (e.g., STEM, Economics, Psychology).
  • Experience using BI tools (such as Power BI or Tableau), data transformation tools (such as Alteryx) and programming languages (in particular, SQL, Python or R).
  • Familiarity with data governance best practice and taxonomy frameworks.
