Who we are 🌍
We’re IAG Loyalty - one organisation with two ambitious, growing divisions across Loyalty and Holidays. Each has its own goals, strategy and team, but together we’re united by a shared vision to create a more rewarding world of travel and experiences.
Our Loyalty division is home to Avios, the global loyalty currency, enabling millions of members to collect and spend rewards across travel, retail and financial services.
Our Holidays division including British Airways Holidays and Iberia Vacaciones, brings together trusted brands, connecting customers to thousands of destinations worldwide through seamless, end-to-end travel experiences.
We’re on an exciting journey of growth and transformation – we’re going places.
The opportunity ✨
At IAG Loyalty, our people are at the heart of everything we do. As a People Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in delivering a seamless and thoughtful employee experience across the full colleague lifecycle.
This is a 6-month fixed-term opportunity, ideal for someone starting their career in People or looking to build on early experience. You’ll be part of our People team supporting both our Loyalty and Holidays divisions, giving you broad exposure across the business.
You’ll be naturally organised, digitally confident, and take pride in getting the detail right. Using systems like Workday, you’ll help ensure our People processes run smoothly while delivering a great experience for every colleague you support.
What you’ll be doing 🚀
Deliver high-quality administrative support across the employee lifecycle (joiners, movers, leavers)
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee data in Workday, ensuring strong data integrity
Support onboarding and offboarding processes, creating a positive and well-organised experience for colleagues
Act as a first point of contact for People-related queries, providing timely, clear and thoughtful responses
Produce regular reports and support data insights to inform People decisions
Help deliver People initiatives such as engagement activities, learning sessions and internal communications
Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance the colleague experience through technology
Ensure all activity is compliant with internal policies and relevant employment legislation
What we need from you ⚡
Experience in an administrative or customer-focused role, where you’ve developed strong organisation and attention to detail
A natural eye for detail and pride in getting things right, especially when working with data and systems
Confidence using technology, with the curiosity to learn new tools and ways of working
Strong communication skills, with a thoughtful and people-focused approach in everything you do
The ability to manage multiple priorities and stay organised in a fast-paced environment
Discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information
A proactive mindset - you don’t just follow processes, you look for ways to improve them
We’re also passionate about developing our people. If you’re looking to build a career in People and gain exposure to a People Advisor level role, this is a great place to learn, grow and take the next step in your career.
We might not be right for you if:
You prefer to focus only on your own tasks rather than supporting a wider team; we work collaboratively and help each other to succeed
You’re uncomfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift and processes evolve
You don’t enjoy working with systems, data, and detail; accuracy and organisation are key in this role
You prefer highly structured, repetitive work and aren’t motivated to improve or streamline processes
If you think you have what it takes but don't meet every single point above, please do still apply. We'd love to chat and see if you could be a great fit.
The Blend 📍
This role will work across both divisions and is based out of our London office. We call our approach to hybrid working The Blend — it’s about giving you the flexibility to choose where you do your best work, while staying connected with your team and the wider business. This means you will be required to spend at least two days per week in the office, with the rest of the time working from home. You may also be required to work from one of our other office or partner locations, based on your role and ‘to do’ list.
Diversity and Inclusion
Our vision is to create a more rewarding world of travel and experiences. Delivering that requires diverse thinking and inclusive leadership.
We are committed to building a workplace where people feel they belong and are valued for their perspective. Inclusion drives better decisions, stronger performance and more innovative outcomes.
We actively encourage applications from people with different experiences and backgrounds, and are committed to ensuring our recruitment process is fair, inclusive and accessible.
