As People Business Partner, you will be a trusted advisor, coach, and consultant to leaders and employees, translating Ericsson's People Strategy, values, and principles into practical, compliant, and impactful HR (People) solutions. You will ensure that all people's decisions and processes are:• Fully compliant with local labor legislation• Aligned with Ericsson global frameworks• Delivered with transparency, fairness, and ethical rigor• Focused on creating a positive, high performance employee experience
What You Will Do
You will act as a strategic HR partner, owning and executing end to end people topics across your scope, including:
Strategic HR Partnership • Act as a consultant and coach leaders on all people's matters• Translating business priorities into sustainable local HR solutions• Enable leaders to make informed, fair, and compatible with people's decisions
HR Solutions & Organizational Impact • Design and implement HR (People) solutions across:- Recruitment & workforce planning- Compensation & benefits- Performance & talent management- Learning, development & succession- Implementing local legislation requirements • Lead and support complex organizational changes, ensuring legal compliance and people care• Drive a strong performance and feedback culture
Employee Relations & Labor Law • Manage disciplinary cases, investigations, and sensitive employee situations• Ensure full compliance with Romanian labor law and internal policies• Act as interface with unions, employee representatives, and authorities when required• Navigate complex employee relations topics with confidence, empathy, and precision
Culture, Values & Ethics • Champion Ericsson values, integrity, diversity & inclusion• Address policy or Code of Business Ethics matters with professionalism and discretion• Promote transparency, fairness, and trust in all people's processes
People Analytics & Decision Support • Influence business decisions using people data and insights• Monitor external market and industry trends to inform strategy• Support country level engagement and well-being initiatives
Required Experience & Expertise
• Proven experience as a People Business Partner or HR Manager in a complex environment• Strong, hands on skills in:- Recruitment & talent acquisition- Compensation & benefits- Talent & performance management- Disciplinary and employee relations cases- Managing complex organizational change• Solid, practical understanding of labor law, with experience delivering HR solutions fully aligned with it• Experience working with ambiguity, senior stakeholders, and sensitive situations
Education & Skills• Bachelor's degree in law or a related field• Fluency in English• Strong analytical, communication, and influencing skills• Ability to explain complex HR and legal topics clearly-even in difficult conversations
Personal Attributes• Acts with high integrity, professionalism, and respect for people• Confident, resilient, and solution oriented• Comfortable, challenging and advising leaders constructively• Sees HR as a business enabler, not just a support function
