People Business Partner (HR Business Partner)
Locations: Kensington, London SW5 0TU. The office is situated in an area with great transport links, close to Gloucester Road Underground Station.
12 Month FTC (Maternity Cover) full-time position: 37.5hours
Salary: £49,000 - £57,000 plus fixed term benefit allowance

Role Overview
Known as a People Business Partner, you will be part of our Cromwell Hospital People Team; a small, dedicated team of which your central focus will be to plan and implement business interventions and projects including influencing and driving employee engagement, workforce planning, and supporting with diversity and inclusion and Data / MI initiatives. You will collaborate with numerous teams such as Recruitment, Data & MI, Healthroster, L&D, and the teams at the hospital to facilitate good employee relations. The role is hybrid, a mixture of office and home working.
What you’ll do:
- Work on both projects and cyclical people activity; with examples such as pulse engagement survey, performance conversations, and annual pay review.
- Provide data and metrics on the progress of the projects, initiatives, interventions and any part of the people and culture plan
- Diagnose root causes of underperformance, trends and cultures and create plans in partnership stakeholders to drive change and continuous improvement.
- Provides input and support to the the Associate People Director
- Work with people managers and with employees to encourage adoption of processes and ways of working
What you’ll bring:
- Strategic HR Business Partner level experience with the ability to collaborate with senior stakeholders.
- Experience of supporting new business integration
- Lead organisational design projects including workforce planning and restructuring
- Leading and embedding HR projects which span large numbers of employees to agreed benefits.
- Experience writing employee communications that reaches large audiences.
- Previous implementation and creation of toolkits and similar employee materials.
- Previous success in diagnosing business issues using data and MI / root cause and developing proposals / solutions to address.
- Be familiar with TUPE process to ensure smooth business transfers
