We are seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join our dedicated finance team. What You'll Do

In conjunction with your Level 3 or Level 5 Payroll Apprenticeship, you will be trained to a high standard and be involved in a wide range of tasks, including:

  • Assisting in the processing of our monthly payroll using Workday Payroll and managing employment tax compliance.

  • Loading and reconciling payroll data to ensure accuracy.

  • Serving as a key point of contact for employees and HR, helping to resolve queries related to payroll and benefits.

  • Working closely with the Head of Reward and Payroll Manager on exciting annual projects.

  • Taking ownership of the benefit invoicing process and helping to manage supplier relationships.

  • Identifying opportunities for process improvement and helping to implement them.

What Experience You Need

We're looking for a motivated individual with a strong desire to build a career in this field. As this is an apprenticeship, we are looking for candidates with strong foundational qualifications.

  • Qualifications: You must have 5 or more GCSEs (at grades A*-C or 9-4), which must include Maths and English. You'll also need 2 or more A-Levels or an equivalent Level 3 qualification.

  • Experience: Dedicated, hands-on experience processing end-to-end payroll for the UK, ideally within an in-house environment.

What Could Set You Apart

While not essential, these skills and qualifications would make your application stand out:

  • Any prior experience or familiarity with Workday UK Payroll.

  • A Level 3 or Level 4 Payroll qualification (or progress towards one).

  • Previous in-house payroll and benefits experience.
