Job Description
The Payroll - Finance Administrator is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of employee payroll in SAP, ensuring completeness and accuracy of payroll data maintained within the accounting records. This role involves a combination of data management, financial analysis, and employee support to maintain efficient payroll operations.
This role is crucial for the smooth interaction between HR/Payroll and the company's finance department.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Payroll Recording:

Capture monthly and weekly payroll records in SAP across all entities within the Group

Work with the HR team to perform accounting compliant Payroll reconciliations across all entities within the Group

Ensure accurate and timely recording of payment of wages, deductions, and benefits and associated payroll liabilities.

Maintain up-to-date employee payroll records, especially with regards to cost centre changes

Prepare payroll liability reconvictions to support open liabilities on the balance sheet
Tax and Compliance:

Work together with the Tax team to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations

Assist with preparation of data for payroll tax returns accurately and timely
Data Management:

Maintain accurate payroll data, including associated deductions, tax withholdings, and payroll liabilities within SAP

Utilize payroll software to ensure cost centre data is accurately maintained in SAP & Workday

Generate payroll reports and analysis as required.

Provide support on payroll related audit requests
