What’s the role about?

As our Payroll Assistant, you will be supporting our team by processing payroll accurately and in a timely manner. Reporting to our Payroll Manager, you will be maintaining payroll records and responding to employee enquiries, as well as assisting with compliance and process improvement efforts.

Who you are

  • Possess a solid foundation and understanding in payroll procedures. Previous payroll and HRIS/HCM experience would be desirable, but not essential.
  • Strong proficiency in using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Great communicator and relationship builder, confident in responding to employee queries and liaise with various departments.
  • Previous experience with HRIS/HCM systems would be advantageous, especially with SAP SuccessFactors.
  • Highly organised with excellent time management skills and the ability to work on your own initiative and within a team.

What you’ll be doing

  • Conduct regular audits of the HRIS, ensuring payroll data accuracy and compliance internationally.
  • Assist in processing payroll for all our UK and Europe employees, including entering and verifying payroll data, calculating wages, overtime, and deductions to ensure accurate and timely payments.
  • Respond to payroll-related enquiries from employees, providing information and resolving issues related to pay statements, deductions, and other payroll matters.
  • Ensure compliance with UK payroll laws and regulations.
  • Contribute to the preparation and submission of necessary payroll reporting and filings.
  • Support with systems implementation and transformation.
