We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager to work in our Payments team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and driving improvement in our payment experience for our customers. You will work closely with cross-functional teams (including external partners) to implement new payment solutions, enhance existing systems, and drive continuous improvement in payment operations. Additionally, you will focus on maximizing commercial opportunities and driving revenue growth through effective payment strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning: Develop and execute the payment strategy in alignment with the company's overall business objectives.
Commercial Focus: Identify and capitalize on commercial opportunities to drive revenue growth through innovative payment solutions and partnerships.
Partner Management: Manage relationships with payment providers and other financial institutions to ensure optimal performance and service levels
Customer Experience: Champion the customer payment experience by ensuring payment processes are optimised across the business.
Data Analysis: Analyse payment data to identify trends, monitor performance, and develop insights to drive improvements.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
Project Management: Manage payment-related projects, from concept to implementation, ensuring timely delivery and successful outcomes.
Innovation: Stay updated on industry trends and emerging payment technologies and recommend innovative solutions to enhance payment processes.
Proven experience (5+ years) in a senior payments role, preferably within the FS/retail industry.
Strong understanding of payments and financial technologies.
Excellent knowledge of payment regulations and compliance requirements.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong leadership abilities stakeholder management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
