Experience

At least 7-10 years experience, preferably with prior experience in a fast growing fintech startup and/or top-tier strategy/management consulting or equivalent. Relevant experience in strategy, product or service development, and business management role will be considered.

Domains

Good working understanding of cross-border payments, payment scheme (global, regional or domestic), and retail segment.

Key Responsibilities

01. Champion the development of and advocate the vision, strategic roadmap and narrative of the scheme, backed by factual data analysis, primary and secondary research.

02. Lead the development and and alignment of the scheme economic model, including facilitating cross-functional deep-dives and assessing key decision choices, legal and risk implications, and insights from customer interviews.

03. As custodian of the scheme vision, collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure the design and delivery of relevant service, capabilities and products will uphold the scheme vision, including support to:

- Define product/market and develop improved/new product concepts and/or business solutions requirements based on customer needs, including development in rulebook, metrices and enforcement mechanisms

- Produce detailed product definitions and associated business cases. Act as an interface between product development and commercial teams.

- Manage product launch projects, coordinate all aspects of the marketing plan (product/pricing offer, promotion, development of user documentation, training of customers and commercial divisions. )

- Support business development and Scheme engagement team in conversations with Swift's internal division/departments, customers, vendors, regulatory bodies and industry associations.

- Keep abreast with trends in the industry and share information with other divisions/departments.

04. To materialize the impact of scheme vision, collaborate with Scheme Engagement team and respective business development teams to scale the reach of the Scheme with respect to markets and scheme institutions

05. Be a sounding board to Payment Scheme team and other stakeholders (in support of the Scheme) with objectives to frame problem statement, resolve inefficiencies and roadblocks, ensure delivery in line with scheme vision and narrative, and align approaches to data insights whenever possible
