With private equity investment in 2023, and a new CEO joining the business in August 2024, we are on an exciting scaling journey. Key to our successful growth and market penetration will be strong, sector-aligned strategic partnerships. As a result of this, we have a newly created role for an experienced Partnerships Manager to join our team.

The Partnerships Manager is responsible for identifying, developing and managing strategic partnerships that drive growth and expand the reach of our service offerings.  This role plays a key part in enhancing our market presence and credibility. By working with technology partners and other industry stakeholders to build and maintain mutually beneficial relationships creating opportunities through lead generation, co-marketing and consumption revenue.  The Partnerships Manager will leverage market insights, relationship building skills and technical knowledge to maximise the value from Partnerships and align to 101 Ways business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Identify and prioritise potential technology partners (including but not limited to cloud, data and specialist software vendors) and strategic alliances that align with the company’s offerings and growth strategy
  2. Research and assess potential partner’s strengths, market position and potential contribution to the company’s objectives
  3. Negotiate partnership agreements, including terms, goals and resource sharing, ensuring alignment with the company and partner priorities
  4. Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with partners, serving as the primary point of contact for all partnership related matters
  5. Define KPIs and objectives for each partnership, regularly tracking performance and assessing ROI
  6. Develop and deliver reports on partnership effectiveness, providing insights to senior leadership and recommending adjustments as needed
  7. Utilise data to identify market trends, optimise partnership strategies and support data driven decision making
  8. Work closely with the wider commercial team and delivery teams to create and implement partnership driven campaigns, joint marketing initiatives and product integration and implementation.
  9. Keep up to date on industry trends, competitor partnerships and emerging technology developments to identify potential partnership opportunities and to help differentiate the company

The Individual

  • 5+ years experience in a partnerships/alliances role in the tech services sector
  • Proven track record of developing a partnership strategy that has had significant business impact, including tech vendors and strategic alliances
  • Experience in partnering with Microsoft, building key relationships and alignment between service offerings and Microsoft products
  • Experience in data partnerships, notably Databricks, would be highly beneficial, but not a prerequisite for the role
  • Strong commercial awareness and experience of delivering commercial growth via partnership channels
  • Familiarity with the Tech Services sector and ideally, Financial Services, Healthcare and/or Retail
  • Ability to articulate the 101 Ways value proposition, technical solutions and benefits to potential partners
  • Excellent relationship builder, high EQ to develop and maintain long term relationships
  • Strong negotiation skills to create win-win partnerships
  • Data driven mindset, able to analyse multiple data points effectively to evaluate partnership success and inform strategy

The role is based in Central London with regular time spent onsite at Client and partner sites. The role reports to the CCO/ Sector Lead.
