About the Role 

WildBrain CPLG is looking for a Partnerships Manager (on a 12 month FTC, Maternity Cover) to join our team! Reporting to our Partnerships Director, you will develop and strategically grow the royalty income for WBCPLG’s key third party Entertainment and Classic representation, across a range of Licensors. You will be able to lead the strategic agenda and drive implementation effectively whilst keeping the local teams engaged, focused and on task.  The ideal candidate will be able to build and maintain strong relationships with our clients to contribute to growing and maintaining our business to achieve long-term success. 

Job Description

  • Lead creation of multi-territory and/or territorial strategic plans, working closely with the individual territories to execute.
  • Ensure revenue forecasts are met and continuously track financial performance of the brands.
  • Manage and guide the implementation and maximise impact of Global Halo projects & collaborations, through PR, retail activation and marketing.
  • Work closely with the individual Territories to ensure they have necessary support to meet revenue forecast and agreed strategy.
  • Build relationships with all key stakeholders and Licensors as required.
  • Respond to day-to-day Licensor requests for information on the Territories including sales updates, marketing, and retail plans.
  • Understand WBCPLG local territory needs, issues and opportunities and work in partnership with all stake holders to ensure agreed strategy delivered.
  • Work closely with WBCPLG Finance to deliver financial analysis and forecasting to Licensor.
  • Support SVP Partnerships & Business Development on acquisition of new representation as required.
  • Keep abreast of competitor activity to assist Licensor’s gain market-leading advantage.
  • React quickly and effectively to unplanned opportunities.
  • Attend trade fairs and conferences as agreed with WBCPLG Management.

Qualifications

  • Significant experience at a senior level in sales & marketing and/or brand management within licensing, toys, apparel, or FMCG.
  • Extensive experience of working closely with retailers at a senior level, through marketing initiatives, with buyers and/or DTR’s.
  • Creative approach with the ability to “think outside of the box” to deliver unique and creative opportunities.
  • Ability to manage a multitude of diverse projects.
  • Strong people management skills to work within complex structure.
