Partnerships Business Manager - London Office

Reporting directly to the Global Head of Partnerships, the Partnerships Business Manager will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing the Ebury Partnerships department’s day-to-day operations to ensure efficient, effective, and profitable outcomes.

The Partnerships Business Manager will serve as a key advisor and right-hand person to the Global Head of Partnerships. This role involves a combination of strategic planning, project management, and executive support.

The successful candidate will be a proactive, results-oriented manager with exceptional communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities:

Operational Strategy: 

  • Deliver and implement operational strategies that align with the Department's overall goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with the Global Head of Partnerships to ensure effective execution of the Department's strategic vision.
  • Monitor progress, identify obstacles, and provide recommendations for adjustments.
  • P&L growth responsibility 

Process Improvement: 

  • Continuously identify and implement process improvements to streamline operations, reduce costs, and enhance efficiency, while continuing to help drive income.
  • Write and update internal policies when required
  • Ensure departmental processes are mapped out and published. 

Risk Management: 

  • Identify and mitigate operational risks and develop strategies to address potential challenges or disruptions.

Regulatory Compliance: 

  • Ensure compliance with industry-specific regulations, standards, and safety protocols, and keep the company up-to-date with changing regulations.

Communication and Coordination:

  • Facilitate effective communication and information flow within the Department.
  • Prepare reports, slide decks, presentations, and briefings for internal and external meetings.

Performance Metrics and KPIs:

  • Providing qualitative analysis to drive Department strategy
  • Client meetings with sales team to understand the market

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external.
  • Represent the leadership team in meetings, negotiations, and events.

Skills and Experience 

  • Proven track record of building a channel partnerships business in financial services 
  • Strong project management skills with a track record of successful project execution.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • High level of discretion, confidentiality, and integrity.
  • Proficiency in Google and project management tools.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and performance metrics.
  • Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing business environment.
  • Very good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong Excel and Powerpoint skills
  • Fluency in English
  • Knowledge of any other language will be highly valued
  • Enthusiastic and motivated
  • Pragmatic thinking coupled with a proactive attitude
  • Agility to work across the company with various groups
  • Entrepreneurial and creative in finding solutions
  • Willing to undertake overseas travel when required
