Partnerships Business Manager - London Office
Reporting directly to the Global Head of Partnerships, the Partnerships Business Manager will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing the Ebury Partnerships department’s day-to-day operations to ensure efficient, effective, and profitable outcomes.
The Partnerships Business Manager will serve as a key advisor and right-hand person to the Global Head of Partnerships. This role involves a combination of strategic planning, project management, and executive support.
The successful candidate will be a proactive, results-oriented manager with exceptional communication and organisational skills.
Responsibilities:
Operational Strategy:
- Deliver and implement operational strategies that align with the Department's overall goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with the Global Head of Partnerships to ensure effective execution of the Department's strategic vision.
- Monitor progress, identify obstacles, and provide recommendations for adjustments.
- P&L growth responsibility
Process Improvement:
- Continuously identify and implement process improvements to streamline operations, reduce costs, and enhance efficiency, while continuing to help drive income.
- Write and update internal policies when required
- Ensure departmental processes are mapped out and published.
Risk Management:
- Identify and mitigate operational risks and develop strategies to address potential challenges or disruptions.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with industry-specific regulations, standards, and safety protocols, and keep the company up-to-date with changing regulations.
Communication and Coordination:
- Facilitate effective communication and information flow within the Department.
- Prepare reports, slide decks, presentations, and briefings for internal and external meetings.
Performance Metrics and KPIs:
- Providing qualitative analysis to drive Department strategy
- Client meetings with sales team to understand the market
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external.
- Represent the leadership team in meetings, negotiations, and events.
Skills and Experience
- Proven track record of building a channel partnerships business in financial services
- Strong project management skills with a track record of successful project execution.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- High level of discretion, confidentiality, and integrity.
- Proficiency in Google and project management tools.
- Proficiency in data analysis and performance metrics.
- Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing business environment.
- Very good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong Excel and Powerpoint skills
- Fluency in English
- Knowledge of any other language will be highly valued
- Enthusiastic and motivated
- Pragmatic thinking coupled with a proactive attitude
- Agility to work across the company with various groups
- Entrepreneurial and creative in finding solutions
- Willing to undertake overseas travel when required
