The role

We are looking for a Partner Manager to oversee and cultivate a portfolio of strategic partners that drive our indirect sales channel, focusing on achieving growth and revenue goals. This role involves building relationships with key decision-makers within partner organizations, leveraging these connections to identify opportunities, facilitate partnerships, and execute joint business plans while providing ongoing education on the GoCardless proposition.

What excites you 

  • Managing, nurturing and growing a portfolio of strategic partners that drive an indirect sales channel to achieve growth, targets and revenue goals
  • Creating relationships across a network of decision makers within your partners including product, marketing, operations, execs. Leveraging this network to identify opportunities and build success across all areas: GTM, sales, customer acquisition
  • Hosting regular QBRs and business reviews - reporting on partners success and define actionable goals 
  • Building campaigns and customer acquisition targets to maximise the lead and conversion potential for the partners in your portfolio 
  • Forecasting and tracking partner success against an agreed set of mutual objectives 
  • Creating joint business plans with your partners to drive longstanding successful mutually beneficial partnerships
  • Enabling and educating partners to understand the GoCardless proposition 
  • Being an advocate for partners, represent the needs of the eco system within GoCardless 

What excites us  

  • 3+ years partner management/ partner development experience or new business/ account management experience in a B2B SaaS environment. 
  • A proven track record of exceeding quotas, preferably within the payments or fintech space.
  • A strategic thinker who enjoys identifying growth opportunities, and driving revenue from partnerships
  • Experience in B2B partner contract negotiation 
  • Builds rapport to form longstanding strategic partner relationships
  • You are commercially astute and take a holistic view of the partner strategy when evaluating the impact of your activities.
