About this role:

We are seeking a passionate and driven Partner Growth Manager to spearhead our expansion and strengthen our partnerships division. This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-growing and diverse sales team dedicated to building strategic partnerships that drive significant revenue growth.

  • Develop a strong understanding of payabl.’s payment products and the wider payments ecosystem, effectively positioning value to prospective partners.
  • Lead sales pitches, structure and negotiate commercial agreements, and support the onboarding of new partners into payabl.’s ecosystem.
  • Focus on quality over quantity by scoping out high-value, sustainable partnerships that deliver strong merchant pipelines.
  • Assess and evaluate prospective partners’ portfolios, including number of merchants, revenue potential, and overall contribution to business growth.
  • Establish and nurture strong, long-term relationships with decision-makers to maximise collaboration and market penetration.
  • Work cross-functionally with internal sales, product, and operations teams to ensure a seamless partner journey.
  • Represent payabl. at industry events and conferences, actively building networks and uncovering new business opportunities.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets, generating sustainable opportunities to achieve both company and personal goals.

Who You Are

You are a proactive, growth-oriented professional with a strong background in payments and acquiring. You understand the dynamics of the fintech and partnerships landscape and have the ability to spot opportunities, build trust, and deliver results. You thrive in fast-moving, competitive environments and combine a hunter mentality with strategic execution.

Key Requirements:

  • 3–5 years of B2B sales experience, ideally within payments, fintech, or financial services.
  • Proven experience in acquiring new partners, with a strong understanding of acquiring and the payment ecosystem.
  • Established network within the UK payments and merchant ecosystem.
  • Strong track record of exceeding revenue and sales targets.
  • Skilled in structuring deals, leading commercial negotiations, and closing high-value partnerships.
  • Ability to evaluate partner portfolios and identify revenue-driving opportunities.
  • Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong organisational and pipeline management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple opportunities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with confidence in presenting at senior levels.
