Our Sustainable Operations team provides highly innovative services across the full breadth of EHS advisory areas such as sustainability auditing, information solutions, safety programs, compliance and management systems, training, and corporate reporting. 

As part of the continued growth and innovation of our Sustainable Operations team, ERM has an opportunity for an experienced leader to join our global consulting firm as an EHS Partner and become a true owner and shareholder in a business with sustainability at its heart. 

 

Role Profile: 

As an EHS Partner at ERM, your role involves developing and implementing comprehensive Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) systems for clients across various industries. This includes creating compliance, risk, assurance, and management systems that align with sustainability goals. Key responsibilities and opportunities include: 

  • Client Collaboration: Partner with leading global companies to develop world-class EHS programs, leveraging your expertise and ERM's global team. 

  • Innovative Solutions: Implement novel solutions at the intersection of compliance and sustainability, driving strategic operational processes. 

  • Risk Management: Reduce operational risks, maintain compliance, enhance safety, and deliver efficiencies that support clients' sustainability and ESG objectives. 

  • Leadership and Growth: Contribute to the growth of ERM's EHS solutions practice by selling and delivering high-quality services, recruiting future leaders, and advancing ERM's reputation in sustainability solutions. 

To excel in this role, you should be a highly organised leader with a proven track record of business development, possess strong communication and influencing skills, along with experience in operational risk and EHS management solutions. 

 

Main Responsibilities: 

  • Primary focus on client relationship development, sales, and delivery of the full spectrum of ERM’s consulting services to deliver strategic value to our clients. In particular, play a key role in growing ERM’s EHS service offering across its broad portfolio of services: 

  • Delivering on ESG and sustainability goals with process and operational changes 

  • Developing and deploying EHS compliance and management systems and providing ISO standards support 

  • Delivering Air, water, and solid waste permitting, compliance, and performance improvement 

  • Developing and leading EHS audit programs 

  • Integrating ESG drivers into EHS management systems, compliance and audits 

  • Actively develop commercial strategies to pursue and win new business opportunities that result in revenue growth with target clients aligned with ERM’s global strategy of focusing on the world’s leading organizations as part of a high functioning, dynamic team. 

  • Ability and willingness to listen to clients to truly understand their needs, and then co-develop novel solutions to address these needs. 

  • Build, grow, and manage a high-performance team, serving as a leader and mentor to consultantsIdentify emerging talent and work with them to reach their full potential; ensure rising stars are nurtured, developed, and given new areas of responsibility.
