How you'll play your part

This is a unique opportunity to work for a scale-up technology business that has a global presence. You'll be responsible for a range of legal matters across several jurisdictions. Working as part of a small team, you'll have the chance to work closely with senior stakeholders across our organisation.

Based on your qualification and experience, you will be responsible for:

-Reviewing, negotiating and advising on several different types of contracts such as NDA’s, client and supplier agreements or other documentation internally or with third-parties;
-Supporting the management of the company’s Contract Repository Platform by organising, categorising and saving all legal documents accordingly;
-Liaising with internal stakeholders to create and manage playbooks for contracts and processes;
-Supporting the internal teams on Compliance and Data Privacy matters.
-Interacting with and supporting the senior members of the legal team managing relationships with external legal counsel on broad legal matters;
-Providing admin support to ensure agreements are consistent with internal policies, company strategy and the wider technology and contract law;
-Trusted legal advisor by keeping up to date with developments within the law and developing trusted expertise;
-Take responsibility under supervision for own files and manage aspects of work in line with the company’s quality control procedures.

What we're looking for

Ideally you'll have 1+ year's in-house experience in a commercial role within either a technology business or private practice. Alternatively a minimum of 6 months' experience gained during a training contract, or up to one year post-qualification experience. Whatever your background, you'll have strong problem solving and analytical skills and communication skills that will enable you to explain legal concepts and jargon to stakeholders who don't have a legal background. You'll also have the willingness to take ownership for resolving problems and take on additional to take on additional responsibilities when required.
