The role
As a Paralegal, you will be responsible for supporting in-house Lawyers and the Legal Operations Manager delivering tailored and pragmatic legal advice. The ultimate goal of this role is to enable the Legal Team to better serve its clients more efficiently and effectively across all areas of the Railpen business whilst minimising legal risk.
This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK.
The person
The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience of carrying out legal research and previously assisted on legal projects, developing and maintaining legal precedents. Attention to detail is pivotal to succeeding in this role as you will be responsible for drafting, preparing and proofreading legal documents including NDAs, Statements of Work, Change Orders etc.
You will be a collaborator with the ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders, possessing a proactive approach and striving to make improvements. You will execute confidentiality and professionalism, contributing to being a valued and trusted member of the team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is confident in their ability and looking to gain more exposure whilst having the freedom and autonomy to learn from experienced in-house Lawyers.
