What will I be doing:
Darktrace has an immediate opening in Cambridge for a Corporate Paralegal. This position offers significant potential, fast-paced career development, and numerous opportunities for personal achievement. The Paralegal role will report to the Senior Corporate Counsel and is a highly visible position.
This is a permanent position based out of our London Office, with expected attendance of 2/3 days a week.
Responsibilities:
- Commercial Contracts: Assist in preparing and facilitate the completion of commercial contracts with our growing customer base. Ensure appropriate contract authorisation. Assist in processing. Prepare amendments to contracts.
- Vendor Registration and Procurement: Support the contracting process by assisting in registering Darktrace with prospective customers, and navigate through the procurement process.
- Operations Support: Work with teams across the company including Finance, Human Resources, and Facilities to ensure ongoing support of company operations.
- Legal Research: Assist in conducting legal research as needed.
- Project Management: Drive progress on legal team projects and help out wherever needed. Actively work on improving processes with the goal of positively impacting the legal team as Darktrace grows and scales.
What experience do I need:
- Must have a Law degree from a leading university
- Ability to work independently on a variety of projects; ability to manage and prioritise multiple deadlines and be proactive
- Decisive, hands-on and a keen problem solver, looking for solutions to real world problems
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, including both oral and written
- Must be comfortable interacting across all levels, including management, building relationships across teams and across our offices.
The position will report to the Senior Corporate Counsel on a small, high impact team and is a highly visible position.
