About the Role and You

As a Paralegal & Legal Ops Coordinator, you will sit at the intersection of legal expertise and operational excellence. You will support the global Legal & Compliance team on legal matters and drive legal operations of our department.

This is a part-time role (3 days a week), including 1 or 2 days a week in the office (London Bridge area). You will report to the Associate General Counsel in the UK and work in a cross-functional team based in the US and UK.

What You’ll Do

Legal Support & Legal Operations

  • Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM): Take a lead role in the administration and optimization of our contract management systems, including overseeing electronic signature workflows.
  • Legal Research: Carry out legal research to address the needs of our global business operations.
  • Regulatory Horizon Scanning: Actively monitor and track shifts in the legal and regulatory landscape that impact our global business operations, ensuring the team is briefed on relevant changes.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement "user-friendly" workflows to streamline how the business interacts with the legal team.
  • Legal Support: Act as a key resource for our US and UK teams on a variety of domestic and international legal issues.
  • NDA Support: Manage NDA workflows and provide global NDA support.
  • Legal Tech Management: Assist the legal and compliance team with legal technology tools.

What We’re Looking For

  • Academics: a law graduate with strong academic results and a passion for both law and technology. 
  • Legal Foundation: Good knowledge of contract law (England & Wales or US/New York/California).
  • Operational Mindset: A "creative and pragmatic" thinker who can understand legal documents and processes while finding ways to make these processes faster and more efficient.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to contract management and data integrity.
  • Tech-Savvy: A curious approach to new software and digital tools.
  • Communication: Professional and user-friendly communications, able to engage with a range of internal stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

Bonus Points

  • Prior experience as a paralegal or in a legal operations role.
  • In-house experience within a tech or gaming company.
  • Experience with specific Legal Tech tools or project management software.
