Your mission as a Panel Operations Executive:
Play a crucial role in shaping Appinio as a leading opinion network by executing our Panel Strategy. You will drive user engagement, gain deep insights into user requirements, manage network costs, and enforce top-tier quality standards across our panel network to elevate the overall user experience.

A few words about the team:

We are an innovative, collaborative, and results-driven team dedicated to data-driven decision-making and operational excellence. We work closely with cross-functional groups—including Product—to maintain a healthy, high-quality panel network while optimising costs and scaling our global operations.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Execute the Panel Strategy and track vital panel health indicators, including active user rates, response quality, and churn.
  • Uplift panel quality standards and collaborate with Product to conduct fraud reviews, investigations, and escalations.
  • Manage panel network cost components, validate monthly costs, investigate reporting discrepancies, and track operational KPIs impacting COGS and gross margin.
  • Coordinate supplier and partner onboarding while maintaining dashboard validations and routine reporting.
  • Define, document, and refine cross-panel procedures for continuous improvement while acting as the internal go-to expert for panel network operations.

You will thrive in this role if:

  • You hold a degree in Business Administration, Economics, Market Research, Statistics, Data Science, or a related data-driven field.
  • You have a solid grasp of data analysis and its associated tools, with an interest in market insights and competitor analysis. Market research or online panel experience is a plus.
  • You possess a keen eye for quality assurance improvements, strong organisational skills, and comfort with handling operational tasks, recurring processes, and structured workflows.
  • You are fluent in English (German, French, or Spanish is a bonus) with exceptional communication skills to articulate complex issues clearly.
  • You bring a hands-on, proactive, and pragmatic approach, demonstrated high ownership, reliable judgment within clear guidelines, and the ability to prioritise urgent and important tasks.

What’s in it for you?

  • Flexibility Policy - Average is 30 days taken, however, we do not have a hard cap of number of vacation days as we know life happens
  • Temporary work from abroad - If you're based in the EU, you can work outside your country of residence for up to 180 days per year
  • All the hardware you need and your own MacBook
  • If you are located in Hamburg or Berlin, you'll get a Deutschland ticket or access to a mobility budget with the NAVIT app to get you to and from the office space
  • Subsidised Urban Sports Club or ClassPass membership based on location
  • In case you’re located in one of the cities where most of our fellow Appinioneers are (Hamburg, Berlin, Munich, London, Madrid, Barcelona, or New York), you can get access to our Co-working spaces
