Join us as an Identity & Cloud Security Administrator (Zscaler Specialist)
Location: Bangalore
The Software Engineering team delivers next-generation application enhancements and new products for a changing world. Working at the cutting edge, we design and develop software for platforms, peripherals, applications and diagnostics — all with the most advanced technologies, tools, software engineering methodologies and the collaboration of internal and external partners.
What you will do
As a Zscaler Administrator, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and operational management of our cloud-based security stack. You will serve as the subject matter expert for Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA), Zscaler Private Access (ZPA), and Zscaler Digital Experience (ZDX), ensuring our global workforce has secure, high-performance access to web and internal resources regardless of their location.
You will:
Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) Management
Policy Governance: Configure and maintain URL filtering, Cloud App Control, and File Type Control policies.
Threat Protection: Manage SSL Inspection (HTTPS interception), Advanced Threat Protection (ATP), and Sandbox settings to block malware and ransomware.
Data Protection: Implement Data Loss Prevention (DLP) rules to prevent sensitive data leakage.
Traffic Forwarding: Manage PAC files, GRE/IPSec tunnels from branch offices, and Zscaler Client Connector (ZCC) configurations.
Zscaler Private Access (ZPA) Management
Zero Trust Architecture: Replace traditional VPNs by implementing granular, per-app access policies based on the principle of "Least Privilege."
Infrastructure: Deploy and manage App Connectors in AWS/Azure or on-premise data centers to facilitate secure "inside-out" connectivity.
Application Discovery: Identify and segment internal applications to move away from broad network-level access.
Zscaler Digital Experience (ZDX) & Optimization
Experience Monitoring: Use ZDX to proactively monitor end-to-end performance (from the user device, across the ISP, to the application).
Troubleshooting: Identify the root cause of "slow application" complaints by analyzing latency, packet loss, and hop-by-hop telemetry.
Reporting: Create executive dashboards and reports showing global user experience health and security posture.
TWhat you’ll need to succeed in this role
Zscaler Expertise: Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience with Zscaler (ZIA, ZPA, and ZDX portals).
Networking: Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, SAML/SCIM, and Load Balancing.
Identity: Experience integrating Zscaler with Identity Providers (IdP) like Okta, Azure AD (Entra ID).
Infrastructure: Familiarity with AWS/Azure/GCP cloud environments

Zscaler Digital Transformation Administrator (ZDTA)
Zscaler Certified Professional (ZCP)
