Paid media is Rise at Seven most rapidly growing deliverable for our clients. As Paid Media Lead, you’ll be the driving force behind our paid media proposition across all channels — turning insight, creativity, and precision targeting into campaigns that deliver real business impact. You’ll own the end to end delivery of a paid content strategy that is intrinsic to the Rise owned, earned and shared propositions.

Reporting into the Managing Partner for Performance, you’ll translate brand and performance objectives into sharp, data-driven media strategies, overseeing planning, buying, optimisation, and reporting across existing and emerging paid search, paid social, video and display platforms. You’ll own client relationships on paid campaigns, ensuring we hit KPIs with consistency while pushing creative and media innovation.

Internally, you’ll collaborate with strategists and craft teams to bring fully integrated campaigns to life—while building and developing the paid content function with our Social & Campaigns Director. This is a hands-on role for someone who’s as comfortable in Ads Manager as they are building teams, developing strategies, and presenting results to clients.

Key Objectives

  • Develop and lead the paid media strategy and execution, ensuring campaigns meet or exceed agreed KPIs (ROAS, CPA, CTR, reach).
  • Refine the process for and manage campaign planning, media buying, and optimisation across Google, Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, and other paid platforms including video, display and native.
  • Act as the primary paid media contact for clients, ensuring delivery aligns with business goals and budgets.
  • Deliver consistent, insight-driven reporting with clear recommendations and optimisations. Be a critical voice in how paid reporting is delivered.
  • Build the paid media function at Rise At Seven with the Managing Partner for Performance and the Social & Campaigns Director.
  • Collaborate across SEO, social, PR, creative, strategy, and influencer to deliver integrated campaigns.
  • Ensure paid media campaigns drive measurable performance, while maintaining Rise’s standards for creativity and cultural relevance.

Day-To-Day Responsibilities

Paid Media Leadership

  • Own media strategy, planning and buying and reporting across multiple paid media channels. Developing teachable and repeatable processes for each stage.
  • Lead optimisations, A/B testing, and budget allocation to maximise ROI.
  • Review campaign builds, creative, and targeting to ensure quality and performance.
  • Ensure Rise at Seven meet all relevant legislative, brand safety, and best practice requirements.

Client Partnership

  • Act as the day-to-day lead on paid media for client accounts.
  • Present media strategies, campaign plans, and performance reports with clarity and confidence.
  • Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders, ensuring client NPS scores of 8+.

Commercial Delivery

  • Grow paid media revenue streams in line with fiscal targets.
  • Design and deliver campaigns within agreed scopes, timelines, and budgets.
  • Flag risks, performance issues, or upsell opportunities early and effectively.
  • Contribute to growth opportunities by identifying where paid media can scale impact.

Creative & Strategic Collaboration

  • Partner with brand strategists to ensure campaigns are rooted in audience insight.
  • Work closely with creatives to develop thumb-stopping paid-first assets.
  • Feed platform insights and learnings back into broader campaign planning.

Measurement & Reporting

  • Ensure rise at seven paid media reporting is meeting the highest standard
  • Track campaign performance against platform and client KPIs.
  • Produce regular reports with actionable insights - building and shaping how we report on paid media with the support of our internal reporting and data team.
  • Lead at least one major optimisation pivot per quarter to drive improved performance.

Team Development

  • Provide coaching and support to the wider paid media, social, and strategy teams and as it paid media grows
  • Give feedback on campaign builds, reporting, and execution.
  • Help junior team members grow in confidence and technical skill.

About You

You’re a digital paid media expert who knows how to balance creativity with performance. You live inside Ads Manager, but you’re equally excited about how platform trends and creativity can supercharge results. You’re hands-on, detail-driven, and commercially sharp—able to manage campaigns, people, and clients with confidence.

  • 3–5+ years’ experience in biddable media, ideally agency-side.
  • Proven track record delivering performance campaigns across Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
  • Strong understanding of audience targeting, attribution, and optimisation.
  • Confident communicator with experience presenting strategies and reports to clients.
  • Experience managing budgets from £50k–£500k+ monthly spend.
  • Comfortable mentoring juniors and working in fast-paced, integrated campaign teams.
