About the role:

We are looking for a Paid Manager to join our UK Media Solutions team, working closely with Client Business Leadership, Strategy,  Client Service and Measurement teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for building exceptional targeting and optimisation strategies to amplify Creator content, driving business impact for brands investment in Whalar Creator marketing programmes.

The candidate will collaborate on paid strategy and multi market execution for all brands at Whalar EMEA who wish to amplify their creator content via paid means. They will work closely with the campaign team for the scoping, delivery, and execution of such campaigns.

Here’s what you’ll do day-to-day:

Campaign Management:

  • Oversee day-to-day paid media management across a portfolio of campaigns.
  • Plan, set up, and optimise campaigns in real-time across multiple social platforms.
  • Manage creator integrations (e.g. Instagram Allowlisting, TikTok Spark Ads) and resolve technical issues.
  • Track conversions and implement Pixels.

Performance & Analytics:

  • Ensure Paid campaigns meet KPIs and are delivered on time with maximum impact
  • Analyse large data sets to draw actionable insights and inform optimisations
  • Reconcile campaigns ensuring finance trackers are up to date

Support & Collaboration:

  • Act as the point of contact for all Paid Media requests, troubleshooting, and support.
  • Stay updated on Paid Social developments and share insights with the wider team.
  • Assist the Media Solutions Director and Client Business Leads with briefs and pitch development

Here’s what we’re looking for:

  • 3+ years of experience in Paid Social Media Role (agency, brand, or platform).
  • Proficiency in paid social tools (e.g., Facebook Business Manager, TikTok Ads Manager, Google Ads Manager).
  • Knowledge of tracking pixels, UTM parameters, and ad implementation.
  • Experience in media planning & buying across Paid Media, and creative best practices.
  • Strong data analysis skills with Excel/Google Sheets.
  • Excellent communication and ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Competent at articulating a paid media strategy both internally and externally, excellent experience working directly with clients. 
  • Team player with a proactive, problem-solving attitude.
  • Familiarity with Branded Content Ad Policies and the digital media landscape (i.e. keeping up to date with latest Ad Products across all Paid Social Channels)
