Description

What we are looking for:

We are looking for an experienced Outsourcing Art Director - Cosmetics to join our team and lead the production of outsourced art and cosmetics assets. In this role, you will collaborate with both internal and external teams to define, develop, and oversee the creation of externally produced assets, ensuring they meet our quality standards and creative vision.

As a Cosmetics Outsourcing Art Director, you will lead and guide teams of Outsourcing Managers, Artists, and Animators, maintaining regular communication with external vendors to ensure seamless coordination. You will work closely with other Directors and collaborate daily with your team, as well as with the Production and Product teams, to achieve visual targets, meet deadlines, and deliver high volumes of content efficiently.

This position requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and a deep understanding of creative production pipelines.

Requirements

What we will do together:

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with external art vendors.
  • Lead the production and delivery of outsourced art and cosmetic assets.
  • Guide our concepts and briefs toward executing on an effective vision for cosmetics.
  • Provide Art Direction for Cosmetics with both internal and external teams.
  • Track the status of art assets and provide necessary supporting materials for production.
  • Review and approve externally produced assets, ensuring alignment with the game's overall creative vision and style.
  • Ensure consistency with the project's concept and artistic direction.
  • Develop and refine the external art pipeline into an efficient workflow that balances quality, budget, and timelines.
  • Guide and manage teams of Outsourcing Managers, Artists, and Animators.
  • Expand outsourcing efforts while continuously improving efficiency, cost savings, and asset quality.

What you will bring:

  • 3+ years of experience as an Outsourcing Manager or Art Director in the video game industry.
  • Proven experience in sourcing and managing external vendors or teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to address complex production challenges efficiently.
  • Excellent time management skills, capable of multitasking while consistently meeting deadlines.
  • In-depth knowledge of art content production pipelines and workflows.
  • Highly motivated and passionate about achieving exceptional quality results.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
