Hello! We're Teya.

Teya is a payment and software service provider, headquartered in London serving small, local businesses across Europe. Founded in 2019, we build easy to use, integrated tools that enable our members to accept payments and boost business performance.

At Teya we believe small, local businesses are the lifeblood of our communities.

We’re here because we don’t believe there’s a level playing field that gives small businesses with a fighting chance against the giants of the high street.

We’re here because we see banks and legacy service providers making things harder for them. We don’t think the best technology or the best service should be reserved for those with the biggest headquarters.

We’re here to fight for a future where small, local businesses can thrive, and to commit the same dedication they offer all of us.

Become a part of our story.

We’re looking for exceptional talent to join our mission. We offer a chance to create impact in a high-energy and connected culture, while benefiting from continuous learning opportunities, a supportive community which is proud to serve our mission, and comprehensive benefits.

Your mission

Create opportunity from the first conversation, while owning both your results and your earning potential.

As an Outbound Sales Executive, you’ll proactively reach out to small and medium businesses that may not yet be looking for a new solution. Your role is to understand how their business works, uncover real needs, and turn early conversations into meaningful commercial outcomes through consultative selling.

You’ll own your pipeline end to end, from first call through to close or qualified handover. This is a high-activity, high-standards role built around clear targets, uncapped commission, and progression over time.

What will you be doing?

  • Proactively prospecting and cold calling potential merchants

  • Running structured, consultative discovery conversations

  • Identifying needs, priorities, and decision drivers

  • Positioning solutions clearly and handling objections with confidence

  • Closing deals directly or booking high-quality next steps when appropriate

  • Building and managing your own pipeline with strong CRM discipline

  • Supporting early-stage questions to ensure smooth handovers

  • Working closely with Inside Sales, Field Sales, and Onboarding teams

  • Sharing market insight and feedback to improve how we sell

Your story

You’ll be expected to take full ownership of your activity and outcomes, balance persistence with judgement, and keep the quality of the conversation front and centre. To succeed in this role, we’re looking for someone with:

  • Proven experience in outbound or phone-based sales roles, comfortable working towards activity and revenue targets

  • Strong emotional resilience, able to handle rejection and stay focused throughout the day

  • A consultative approach, you ask thoughtful questions and avoid one-size-fits-all pitches

  • Confidence managing conversations independently from first contact to outcome

  • Strong organisation and pipeline management skills

  • Comfort working with autonomy, supported by clear expectations, coaching, and feedback

  • Ambition to grow, motivated by a role where strong performance is recognised, rewarded, and can open doors across the business

The Perks

  • On top of your basic salary, you will be able to earn uncapped commission with typical on-target earnings of £50-60,000 in your first year

  • Thorough onboarding and training

  • 25 days of Annual Leave + Bank Holidays

  • Clearly defined career progression ladder and growth opportunities within the business

  • Physical and mental health support through our partnership with GymPass, 1-1 therapy sessions, meditation sessions and access to digital fitness and nutrition apps

  • Extended and improved maternity and paternity leave choices

  • Private Medical and Life Insurance

  • Pension Scheme

Teya is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.

We are committed to creating an inclusive environment where everyone regardless of race, ethnicity, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, age, disability, religion, or background can thrive and do their best work. We believe that a diverse team leads to better ideas, stronger outcomes, and a more supportive workplace for all.

If you require any reasonable adjustments at any stage of the recruitment process whether for interviews, assessments, or other parts of the application—we encourage you to let us know. We are committed to ensuring that every candidate has a fair and accessible experience with us.
