We’re looking for a Organic Growth Specialist to join our Growth Marketing team for an initial 6-12 month period. Please note this role has been assessed as Inside IR35, and payment will be processed via PAYE or an umbrella company through our third-party partner.

Role overview:

The Organic Growth Specialist (Games / Hardware / Services) is responsible for improving the discoverability of PlayStation’s game catalogue across traditional search engines and AI-powered answer engines. 

Working closely with Editorial, Product Marketing and Analytics, you will optimise content throughout the game lifecycle, from announcement through launch and evergreen support, ensuring players can easily discover the games, franchises and experiences that matter most. 

This is a hands-on optimisation role combining SEO fundamentals with emerging GEO practices. You will identify opportunities, optimise content and contribute to initiatives that improve visibility, engagement and organic growth across PlayStation’s global gaming portfolio. 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Own SEO and GEO optimisation across a portfolio of PlayStation game franchises. 
  • Identify opportunities through keyword, intent and entity research. 
  • Partner with Editorial teams to optimise game pages, franchise hubs, buying guides and evergreen content. 
  • Optimise page structure, metadata, headings, FAQs, internal linking and structured data. 
  • Support major first-party and third-party game launches through search planning and optimisation. 
  • Monitor search performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. 
  • Work closely with Analytics teams to evaluate performance and prioritise opportunities. 
  • Contribute to GEO initiatives that improve content retrieval and citation within AI-powered experiences. 
  • Collaborate with Product teams to improve page templates, components and customer journeys. 
  • Stay current with developments across Search, AI and the gaming industry. 

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience delivering SEO programmes for large websites or digital brands. 
  • Strong understanding of keyword research, search intent and on-page optimisation. 
  • Experience using enterprise SEO platforms and analytics tools. 
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication. 
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams. 
  • Passion for gaming with strong knowledge of PlayStation products and franchises. 

Desirable: 

  • Experience with GEO or AI Search. 
  • Experience using Adobe Experience Manager. 
  • Experience working across multilingual or international websites
