We’re looking for a Oracle apps DBA to provide technical and functional support for database monitoring, database installation, database configuration, database administration, troubleshooting techniques, performance tuning and application system updates.

What you’ll do 

  • Balance good practice, maintainability, company goals, regulatory requirements, security and user needs into solutions

  • Maintaining the day-to-day availability of all database servers

  • Responsible for implementing and maintaining a strong approach to system monitoring

  • Experience in managing high performance and availability of the databases that support critical business systems in a 24/7 environment

  • You will manage the databases through the entire product lifecycle including design, development, testing and deployment and also run / maintenance tasks (backups, incident management, managing performance etc).

  • Work independently to implement medium-large solutions.

  • Identify and the implement automatable activities in order to improve efficiency and makes recommendations on other areas for improvement

  • Define and enhance quality assurance and quality control processes to reduce the number of production incidents 

  • Develop, manage and test back-up and recovery plans

What experience you need 

  • Seasoned Oracle apps DBA to provide technical and functional support for database monitoring, database installation, database configuration, database administration, troubleshooting techniques, performance tuning and application system updates

  • Extensive experience in Administration and Management of Oracle EBS R12

  • Hands on experience of managing R12.2/ Oracle Database 19C/Oracle Single Sign On (SSO), Oracle iRec (iReceivables), WebLogic Administration, Oracle OBIEE WL Admin, Oracle WCI Administration, Oracle 19C core DBA exp, Managing day to day AWS Infrastructure exp for all Oracle Databases.

  • Hands-on experience on upgrading R12 applications to Major release versions.

  • Good to have AWS experience using major services like EC2 , S3 Bucket etc.

  • Good to have hands-on Linux Administration skill sets.

  • Good to have experience on identifying and remediating server vulnerabilities.

What could set you apart

  • Active Cloud Certification strongly preferred

  • Experience of databases in cloud, especially on Google Platform - e.g. Cloud SQL, Big Query
