As part of our future growth plans, we’re building a Talent Pool of potential Opportunity Development Executives to join our expanding Assured Energy team when upcoming opportunities become available.

If you enjoy outbound conversations, spotting opportunities and building confidence in a fast-moving commercial environment, this could be the start of something big.

What does an Opportunity Development Executive do?

You’ll be the person that gets the conversation going, introducing prospective customers to our energy solutions and opening the door to future partnerships. You’ll be the first point of contact for prospective SME customers, introducing our energy and utility solutions, uncovering opportunities and helping create a strong pipeline for the wider sales team.

No two conversations are the same; one minute you could be speaking with an independent retailer, the next a growing multi-site business looking to reduce costs and improve sustainability. It’s a role that develops serious commercial confidence, resilience and communication skills, while giving you genuine progression opportunities into wider sales, account management or leadership roles.

You don’t necessarily need years of industry experience. But you will likely already have experience in areas such as:

  • Outbound sales

  • Lead generation

  • Telesales

  • Appointment setting

  • B2B customer engagement

  • Energy sales or utilities

  • Recruitment, estate agency or other target-driven environments

If you already understand pipelines, KPIs and how to build rapport quickly, you’ll probably fit in well.
