The Operations Senior Project Manager leads a team to deliver IT and Business Change projects, ensuring stakeholder engagement and project success through effective communication and management practices.

Location: Leicester
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours a week (6/9 months FTC)
Due to our continued expansion of our Contact Centre and Operations teams, we are looking to recruit a Project Manager to join our team based in Leicester (Hybrid working 4 days per week in the office). This role will require travel to our Nottingham offices from time to time to ensure complete stakeholder engagement.
As a member of the business change team, you will be working with key stakeholders within the business to get the very best from our Technology stack. Communication is key, you will need to actively engage with the business to understand their needs and work collaboratively to deliver technology solutions.

What We Need From Yü
Here’s a taste of what you’ll be doing:
- You should have a proven track record leading a portfolio of IT and Business Change projects delivering value driven technical solutions to business stakeholders.
- You are focused on the “numbers” ensuring the right level of utilisation, margin while finding ways to minimise over-runs.
- Lead, motivate and develop allocated and seconded team members to ensure that agreed performance and behavioural objectives are met.
- Drive best practice project delivery from concept through to delivery.
- You will ideally have worked in other utility supplier environments previously (ideally energy) delivering a variety of different types of projects (including Business Apps, IT Infrastructure, IT Transformation, Data Migrations, IT Support Services).
- You’ll have experience with cloud solutions such as Salesforce, Mulesoft, and emerging AI and automations solutions such as Power Automate

Essential Requirements:
- Ensuring projects across the business are prioritised and successfully delivered (against budgets & timelines).
- Proven ability of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proven analytical skills and experience of project budgeting and road mapping.
- Overseeing resource allocation and highlighting resource challenges / identifying solutions.
- Change Management including impact assessment, business readiness and issuing communications / guidance to the business.
- Implement best practices for Project Management and Requirements via Jira or similar tools, and deliver CI/CD using solutions like Github/Gitlab.
- Manage Risks and Issues to successful conclusion.
- Strong Communication and stakeholder management is a must.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, being able to deal with all levels of the organisation.
- Manage tender and procurement of contractors and third-party services from RFP to Support and handover to BAU.
- Delivery - Strong track record of implementing cross-functional projects and in large organisations

- Finding ways of improving efficiency of projects (scoping, delivery).
