About the Role:
The Operations Senior Executive at OMD EMEA is a pivotal role in the Sony Pictures central team, supporting the Operations Team in driving operational best practice within our central OMD EMEA team, and across all local markets in our remit (and beyond).
We currently look after 41 local market relationships for Sony Pictures, and this role will support the Operations Team in ensuring best-in-class process is delivered across all of them. We have had the Sony Pictures business for 20 years at OMD and are looking for someone who can be part of a collaborative team, helping us elevate our client service even more. We are passionate about film and entertainment with a huge global presence – this is a fantastic opportunity for someone with high attention to detail and coordination skills to work with a brilliant global team. You’ll get to join our Sony Screening events too!
The role will help to coordinate local market work, attend regular local market calls to build relationships and keep track of all deliverables for the Operations Director. You will get to support in managing calendars/meetings, creating templates, managing timelines, and creating and delivering new processes for our local market teams. You will be part of a large central team in London and support them where required on central campaigns and operations management.
Skills and experience requirements:
- Be highly organised, with strong attention to detail to ensure all work is 100% accurate.
- Experience working with multiple markets is a bonus. Proficiency in a second language (eg., Spanish) would be an advantage as well!
- Likes solving problems and looking for creative ways to improve existing processes.
- Comfortable with both project management (particularly in Agile ways of working) and delivering hands on as required.
- Good understanding of the core functioning of media (Strategy, Digital, Buying).
- High degree of numeracy, and able to be analytical with data.
- Previous experience and success track record in operational and/ or account management role.
- High degree of competence on core Microsoft suite.
- Experience working within project management systems, e.g., Trello/Jira/Hive an advantage.
- Experience working with AI/Automation tools (eg., ChatGPT, PowerAutomate) an advantage.
