Operations Manager (Waste Collections)

Salary: £47,235.51 per annum plus performance bonus, car allowance & pension

Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday)

Location: Haringey

What you’ll be doing;

• Responsible for overseeing a team of Environmental managers while assisting the Collections Contract manager to improve service levels and react to changes in legislation while ensuring Fleet and Driver compliance is followed.

• Managing the front line service operations and fleet.

• Working within a high pressure environment,  delivering cost effective services that achieve value for money.

• Meeting operational targets and monitoring performance.

• Suggest new ways to improve operational service and take responsibility for providing solutions.

• Promote a positive team environment with good communication and morale.

What we’re looking for;

• Knowledge of health & safety legislation and guidelines for safe working practices

• Knowledge of waste management 

• Able to lead and motivate others

• Able to work effectively in a team

• HGV licence (preferred) 

• O’Licence awareness (CPC Qualification Preferred)

• Proven staff management experience and experience of managing a front line service
