About the Role

As Safi's Operations Manager in London, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and continually improving Safi's offering.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive Operational Excellence: Identify, prioritise, and solve problems, inefficiencies, and opportunities in how teams work and collaborate. Continuously improve processes, and scale and automate solutions to enhance operational effectiveness.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration & Project Management: Lead cross-functional projects and engage with teams such as logistics, compliance, quality, sales, and beyond. Coordinate and communicate strategy to align priorities across Safi, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in operations.

  • Data Analytics & Problem Solving: Use self-sourced data to define, understand, and solve problems. Identify root causes, propose solutions, derive insights, drive decisions, implement solutions, and measure results based on key performance indicators (KPIs) you will help to establish.

  • Automate as Much as Possible: Scope, develop, and launch automations that scale throughout the business. You have the freedom to choose your tools or programming languages, empowering you to innovate and streamline processes.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience, ideally at a fast-paced startup or scale-up.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to distil large-scale issues into manageable parts and implement effective solutions.

  • Excellent communication skills, capable of negotiating and closing deals with third parties.

  • Proven ability to gather, interpret, and present data to inform actionable plans.

  • Hands-on experience with SQL and solid understanding of CRM systems, preferably HubSpot.

  • Demonstrated success in delivering changes in complex environments, including experience with custom solutions development in Jira.

  • Commercial and quantitative mindset, with a passion for diving into complex projects.

  • Independent and proactive approach to identifying and solving problems.

  • Knowledge of Python is a plus.
