What you’ll be doing

As a key member of our growing Operations team, you’ll support day-to-day operations and gain hands-on experience with systems and tools that power a global, fast-paced tech company. You'll work alongside experienced professionals, helping to maintain our IT infrastructure and support internal teams, while developing your skills in project coordination, security, and operations.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with the implementation and maintenance of IT systems (cloud based)
  • Assist in maintaining operational systems, tools, and documentation.
  • Support company-wide initiatives around SOC 2, ISO 27001, or other Vanta-driven compliance processes.
  • Provide administrative support to the Operations team and other departments as required.
  • Helping to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
  • Supporting onboarding and offboarding processes for employees
  • Monitoring hardware and software performance, and logging issues
  • Collaborating with various teams to understand their IT needs
  • Learning and helping to implement IT security best practices
  • Supporting IT projects across different departments
  • Helping to manage IT assets and software licenses
  • Keeping documentation and internal knowledge base up to date
  • Prepare reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure data accuracy and support the maintenance of internal databases and filing systems.
  • Monitor adherence to company processes and escalate operational issues as needed.
  • Staying current with new technologies and industry trends
  • Enabling the team to leverage AI across the IT estate
Requirements

Must

  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Genuine interest in IT, systems, and supporting a technology-driven team
  • Experience and mindset working with AI tools
  • Willingness to learn, take initiative, and solve problems
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
  • Attention to detail and a structured approach to work
  • A can-do attitude and eagerness to grow within a tech company
  • Ability to work in a stressful, fast moving startup environment
  • Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom.

Nice to Have

  • C1 or above English
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • ITIL, PMP, CISSP, or other relevant certifications
  • Experience working in a fast moving, innovative startup environment
  • Experience working with Google Workspace (Docs, Gmail), Notion, Slack, HiBob, Xero
  • Experience with ISO and/or SOC standards
