We are seeking a detail-oriented and risk-aware Physical Deliveries specialist to manage the lifecycle of physically settled Futures and Options contracts across multiple asset classes and clearing venues.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of delivery risk, clearing mechanics, and exchange protocols — with a particular focus on commodities and fixed income products.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee physical delivery processes for commodities and fixed income instruments across major CCPs (e.g., ICE, CME, Eurex, Euronext)
• Monitor and manage First Notice Days (FND), Last Trading Days (LTD), and Option Expiry schedules to ensure timely client communication and risk mitigation
• Liaise with clearing brokers, exchanges, and internal teams to coordinate delivery instructions and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain accurate delivery records and ensure compliance with exchange and regulatory requirements
• Support margin and collateral teams with delivery-related impacts on margin calls and asset movements
• Provide daily oversight of delivery risk exposure and escalate potential mismatches or breaches
• Collaborate with technology and product teams to enhance delivery workflows and reporting tools
Skills & Experience:
• Significant experience in physical deliveries or post-trade operations within Futures & Options
• Strong understanding of delivery risk mechanics including FND, LTD, and CCP delivery protocols
• Familiarity with delivered commodities (e.g., metals, energy, agriculture) and fixed income instruments
• Experience managing option expiries and associated clearing processes
• Working knowledge of CCPs such as ICE, CME, Eurex, Euronext, and LCH
• Proficiency in post-trade systems — experience with XTP is a significant advantage
• Excellent attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to work under pressure
