What will I be doing?

We’re building a central operations function to drive hyper alignment, exceptional performance and agile data-driven decision making across Kaluza. We’re looking for an Operations Analyst to work in-sync with our Operations Managers to deliver a wide range of high impact projects.
Responsibilities include: 

  • Building close ties with our data analytics team to understand data infrastructure & processes at Kaluza (and suggest improvements)
  • Building and maintaining business essential data tracking - identifying metrics that will let us know a goal is off track before problems arise
  • Unblocking data needs within the operational team, working across a diverse range of business problems
  • Supporting adoption of data-led approach and data democracy at Kaluza
  • Identifying inefficiencies and implementing solutions using AI and automation

About You 

Ideally you’ll have/be

  • Experience with SQL, ideally using more complex functions such as partitioning (experience with BigQuery / Databricks is a plus). 
  • Confidence in building and communicating significant data visualisations and experience in using a business intelligence platform (we use Tableau and Looker Studio).
  • Experience with correct handling of sensitive data, with a focus on security and compliance.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills - able to articulate results clearly and concisely to senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to extract narrative from data and translate this into actionable insights at a strategic level.
  • Ability to work independently, unblock your own problems and quickly understand new concepts.
  • Experience with Python is a plus.
