Overview:
As the initial point of contact, you will be responsible for a range of tasks and first-line response duties, which include managing relationships with traders, Futures Commission Merchants (FCMs), and exchanges. This role is integral to a vast and growing global trading operation that executes trades across all asset classes. You will provide support exclusively to internal traders and operations, with no external customer interactions.
Responsibilities:
- Offer comprehensive first-level support to users of trading applications, encompassing both proprietary internal software and third-party platforms.
- Efficiently handle support inquiries through phone, email, and direct messaging, prioritizing prompt and effective responses.
- Implement and modify risk limits across various platforms, exchanges, and FCMs, while comprehending the sequence of dependencies involved.
- Create, adjust, and oversee account configurations on multiple platforms.
- Collaborate with vendors, including Exchanges and FCMs, to address and resolve production issues.
- Occasionally liaise with software developers to enhance applications and resolve technical problems.
- Document support processes, technical issues, and workflow procedures meticulously.
- Undertake special projects as required.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated capability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks efficiently.
- Exceptional customer support skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
- A solid understanding of trading industry concepts and terminology is essential.
- Previous experience in supporting capital market platforms from a back-office perspective is highly desirable.
- Must thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced team setting.
- Self-motivated, decisive, energetic, and focused on delivering results.
