The Engineering UK & Continental Europe unit at BBVA Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) drives the technical and operational evolution of wholesale banking across the region. The team focuses on designing and optimizing processes, technology solutions, and operating models. By collaborating closely with Business, IT, and Global Functions, we tackle complex challenges, scale innovative solutions, and ensure the highest standards of efficiency, security, and control. It is an international, dynamic environment with a significant impact on core business operations.

About the job:

Responsibilities:

Technical Area:

  • Management of the BRS and coordination of its technical testing.

  • Execution of the BIA, risk assessment, and dependency analysis.

  • Planning and execution of continuity tests and simulation exercises.

  • Development and maintenance of System Recovery Plans (DRP).

  • Identification and mapping of local CFS.

  • Development of ICT Service Continuity Plans.

  • Coordination and support for business and IT areas.

Strategic Area:

  • Maintenance of the Continuity Scorecard.

  • Management of committees, communications, and reporting.

  • Monitoring of test results and resilience documentation management.

Requirements:

  • Experience in business continuity, operational resilience, or risk management.

  • Knowledge of BIA, BCP/DRP testing, and ICT services.

  • Strong coordination, analytical, and communication skills.

  • Spanish language skills are a plus.
