ABOUT US
We’re the world’s leading provider of secure financial messaging services, headquartered in Belgium. We are the way the world moves value – across borders, through cities and overseas. No other organisation can address the scale, precision, pace and trust that this demands, and we’re proud to support the global economy.
We’re unique too. We were established to find a better way for the global financial community to move value – a reliable, safe and secure approach that the community can trust, completely. We’re always striving to be better and are constantly evolving in an ever-changing landscape, without undermining that trust. Five decades on, our vibrant community reflects the complexity and diversity of the financial ecosystem. We innovate diligently, test exhaustively, then implement fast. In a connected and exciting era, our mission has never been more relevant. Swift now has a presence in 200+ countries and legal territories to serve a community of more than 12,000 banks and financial institutions.
At Swift, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to drive the successful design, implementation and continuous improvement of Swift’s Operational Resilience framework. This role ensures Swift can anticipate, withstand, respond to, and recover from disruptive events, safeguarding critical services, meeting regulatory obligations, and responding to our community’s expectations in this domain.
We’re looking for an individual with a passion for driving operational excellence, security and resilience, and with the ability to inspire confidence and trust.
The ideal candidate should bring a strong understanding of operational resilience in the financial industry, be technically savvy, and possess excellent communication skills. They will be able to anticipate and proactively manage risks relevant to the company and financial community, develop solutions to complex problems, and have a proven track record of leading complex projects and managing virtual teams.

For example, deliver transversal outputs such as resilience plans and procedures aligned with the Strategy defined (e.g. scenario’s, exercises, playbooks, and simulations) across the ecosystem of client-facing services, underlying technologies and third-party usage.
Collaborate with the external community (peers, customers) on resilience topics to harmonise positions and adopt best practices.
Deliver training and awareness programs on operational resilience, and promoting a resilience culture across Swift.
When required, support the overall design and implementation resilience programs, including collecting feedback, ensuring documentation is up to date, facilitating discussions to follow up with stakeholders, and proposing or implementing changes for continuous improvement. Where relevant, engage with 3rd parties (expertise firms) to further mature the resilience posture.
Develop Monitoring & Reporting
