Open application for exceptional candidates across engineering, product, go-to-market, strategy, and research. Work may include building AI/agentic systems, product surfaces for expert analytical workflows, sales/partnerships with PE and consulting, operations and founder-support tasks, or domain research. High ownership, ambiguity tolerance, and AI-native tooling expected. Candidates may be matched to roles as they open.

We're not always hiring. We're always looking.

The problem we're obsessed with

The best analytical work in the world is locked inside human heads and PowerPoint slides. It doesn't compound. It doesn't scale. Every engagement starts from zero.

A market map built this year gets filed away. The judgment a senior consultant develops over a decade — about what questions to ask, where the risks hide, how to structure a narrative — disappears when they move firms. Extraordinary talent. Workflows that haven't changed in twenty years.

Riplo is a software company. We build the operating layer that makes expert analytical work repeatable, scalable, and compounding — starting with private equity diligence, the most rigorous, high-stakes analytical workflow in finance.

We raised $3.1M in pre-seed in December 2025, led by Cherry Ventures, with angels from McKinsey, BCG, QuantumBlack, OpenAI, Goldman Sachs, and Hg Capital.

The category is being defined right now. We want the best people in the room when it happens.

Why we're posting this

We don't always have a role that fits the person we want to hear from. This posting is for that person.

If you're exceptional, resonate with what we're building, and want to be part of the team defining the next era of analytical work; apply here. We read every application. If nothing fits today, we keep strong candidates warm and reach out the moment something opens. Some of the best people we've worked with didn't apply through a posting. They applied because they wanted to be part of this, and we figured out the role together.

What you might work on

Roles at Riplo typically fall into one of these areas — but the best applications often don't fit neatly into any of them:

  • Engineering. Founding product and full-stack engineers, AI engineers. Multi-step agentic systems, evals, reliable inference, interactive product surfaces.

  • Product and design. Translate consulting tradecraft into product surfaces that practitioners trust with their highest-stakes work.

  • Go-to-market. Founder-led sales, customer success, and partnerships across PE funds, consulting firms, and adjacent professional services.

  • Strategy and operations. Founder's office work; fundraising support, hiring, BD, ops scaffolding, and the hundred things that have no owner yet.

  • Research and domain. Former consultants, PE/IB operators, or applied AI researchers with deep professional services context.

If you don't see yourself in this list but think you'd be a force multiplier; tell us why.

The mindset

  • Exceptional ability. You have demonstrated excellence — academically, professionally, or otherwise. We hire from a small range of profiles, but we hire from the top of those ranges.

  • Extreme ownership. You see gaps. You fill them. You don't wait to be told.

  • Bias to action. You would rather ship a 90% solution this week than a perfect one next month.

  • High comfort with ambiguity. The role isn't fully defined. The product isn't fully defined. The category isn't fully defined. That's the point.

  • AI-native by default. You use modern tools everywhere to accelerate your work — not as a novelty, but as a genuine multiplier.

  • Conviction about the mission. You've thought about why now is the moment for AI to change knowledge work. And you want to be in the room when it does.

Why this, why now

Every engagement Riplo touches makes the system smarter. The context, the judgment, the work product; all of it compounds into a knowledge layer no individual consultant or competing tool can replicate.

The next twelve months are when the category gets defined. Joining now means working on the problems that determine whether Riplo becomes the default; not future hypotheticals, but the actual decisions made this year.

What we offer

  • Meaningful equity for the right candidate, regardless of role

  • More context, responsibility, and direct impact than people with far more senior titles at larger firms

  • Direct daily access to founders who have built and backed category-defining companies

  • A front-row seat to the AI revolution in professional services, with your hands on the wheel

If you've read this far and think you belong here — we want to hear from you.
