Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Onsite Lead IT Support Engineer to oversee and manage a team of customer-facing engineers. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and a proactive approach to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Team Management:
Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of onsite engineers, fostering collaboration and professional growth.Operational Oversight:
Coordinate daily activities including incident response, service requests, installations, upgrades, and preventive maintenance.Service Excellence:
Ensure adherence to SLAs, processes, and company standards for all service delivery.Resource Planning:
Plan, schedule, and allocate resources for field operations to meet contractual deadlines and client expectations.Technical Support:
Provide guidance and troubleshooting during BAU activities, including maintenance and repair tasks.Compliance & Safety:
Enforce compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards at all times.Client Engagement:
Act as the primary point of contact for operational queries, maintaining strong relationships and clear communication.Reporting & Escalation:
Monitor progress, prepare reports, and escalate issues when necessary.Continuous Improvement:
Drive initiatives to enhance efficiency, service quality, documentation, knowledge sharing, and customer satisfaction.Cross-Functional Coordination:
Collaborate with project management, account management, and logistics teams for seamless execution.Cybersecurity & Training:
Ensure compliance with cybersecurity and data protection policies, including completion of mandatory training.
You will be successful in this role if you have:
High School Diploma or GED required
Technical certification or Associate Degree preferred
4–6 years of experience in IT support or related field
Strong leadership and communication skills
Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, troubleshooting, and service management principles
