  • Conduct individual and corporate identity verification checks, undertaking further investigation where necessary.
  • Undertake and analyse electronic screening relating to Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs), sanctions, and other high-risk factors, investigating potential matches and escalating cases to the Onboarding Manager and/or MLRO where appropriate.
  • Review day to day screening alerts in a timely manner, applying a risk-based approach to distinguish between false positives and potential red flags.
  • Complete Customer Risk Assessments and maintain accurate records.
  • Assist with the initial review of client documentation, including Information Memorandums, Application Forms, and other financial promotions.
  • Liaise with the Investment Operations and Fund Services teams to provide onboarding status updates and obtain additional information where required to complete the onboarding process.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of robust compliance controls across the Firm.
  • Assist in developing and updating onboarding procedures, while participating in projects involving system enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Assist in gathering internal data and statistics, producing periodic management information reports and responding to regulatory requests.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of anti-money laundering requirements and other relevant laws and regulations through personal study, internal and external training, and attendance at relevant seminars.
  • Maintain knowledge of the Firm's systems and controls for the prevention of financial crime and regulatory compliance.
  • Provide support on ad hoc compliance and Client Services projects as required.
  • The responsibilities listed above are indicative rather than exhaustive. The Onboarding Analyst will be expected to undertake any additional duties reasonably commensurate with the role. These responsibilities may be amended from time to time to reflect changes in organisational strategy, structure, or business requirements.

Personal Qualities

The ideal candidate will:
