About Sedna

Sedna is at the forefront of revolutionising global trade, serving as the North Star for businesses navigating the complexities of international commerce.  About the role

Sedna is maturing fast, and we need someone to help our workplace and IT setup keep pace. As our Workplace and IT Co-ordinator, you'll make sure our people, in London and across our smaller offices and remote timezones, always have what they need to do great work.

This is a great next step for someone who's worked across a couple of changing environments and is ready to bring that experience to a 150+ person, multi-location business. You'll have real scope to build structure and process, not just maintain what's there, with the Head of People Operations backing you on the bigger calls.

If you enjoy ownership, variety, and a role where IT, workplace, and people experience meet, this is for you.

Your responsibilities

People Experience
Shape onboarding and offboarding (via HiBob) from a workplace and tech angle. Work with People Ops on survey and pulse feedback. Plan London social events with regional leads, and run employee lifecycle projects end to end.

Supporting Leadership
Be an extra pair of hands for the SVP of People and Head of People Operations: pulling together information, prepping for meetings, or taking on admin that frees up their time. This is an assisting role, not an owning one, but it matters.

Workplace Management
Keep our London office safe, stocked, welcoming, and client-ready, while managing our regional office providers. Support health & safety compliance, track office budgets, and keep the lease register in good shape.

IT & Vendor Management
Own the IT asset lifecycle end to end: procurement, provisioning, tracking, returns, disposal, and an accurate register across every region. Administer SaaS licences alongside onboarding and offboarding, track vendor spend and renewals, and flag what's redundant. Help consolidate tools across acquired entities and keep our Employee Wiki useful and current.

Compliance
Support our ISO 27001 and SOC 2 audits with asset, access, and provisioning evidence. Keep internal policies current on the Employee Wiki, and improve processes where you spot the chance.

What we're looking for

  • Experience across two or three fast-paced or scaling environments, ideally including a 150+ person business
  • A track record owning IT provisioning, asset management, or workplace operations end to end
  • Comfort working cross-functionally with Leadership, Finance, and regional teams
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset
  • A developing commercial and process-oriented outlook, with the judgement to know when to escalate
 A day in this role

No two days look the same, but here's a sense of the mix.

Day to day, you'll be the first port of call for IT and workplace requests: setting up a new starter's kit, chasing a vendor renewal, checking the London office is stocked and running smoothly, or updating the asset register after a return. You'll be moving between quick admin tasks and slightly longer pieces of coordination, often several times an hour.

Week to week, you'll be working on the bigger threads: an onboarding or off-boarding flow in HiBob, a piece of the Employee Wiki that needs tidying up, or an ad-hoc project for the SVP of People or Head of People Operations. This is also where London social planning, SaaS licence reviews, and regional office check-ins tend to sit.

Month to month, you'll pick up the longer-running work: audit evidence for ISO 27001 or SOC 2, lease register reviews, vendor spend analysis, and tool consolidation projects tied to acquired entities. These are the pieces where you'll build real ownership over time, shaping how the process works rather than just running it.
