Micron's Global Construction organization delivers complex, multi-phase semiconductor facilities that enable world-leading memory and storage technologies. The NY Construction Project Manager oversees cleanroom and facilities construction at the Clay, NY campus, managing scope, schedule, cost, quality, and safety from planning through turnover and commissioning. This role partners closely with design, engineering, trade partners, and operations teams to deliver production-ready facilities using digital-first tools and best-in-class construction practices.

What's Encouraged Daily:
  • Lead end-to-end construction project execution, including planning, procurement, scheduling, budgeting, and reporting.
  • Manage cleanroom, base-build, and supporting facility construction activities to ensure alignment with design specifications, safety standards, and operational readiness.
  • Oversee contractor performance, conduct coordination meetings, and ensure timely resolution of field issues and scope changes.
  • Drive digital project execution using BIM, progress-tracking tools, and construction automation technologies.
  • Support permitting, approvals, and compliance with authorities having jurisdiction (AHJs), as well as Micron's PMIS (Procore).
  • Identify and mitigate project risks; maintain project documentation, change control, and forecasting.
  • Ensure delivery of high-quality construction in accordance with quarterly and annual quality objectives.
  • Manage project cost control efforts, value engineering opportunities, and staffing efficiency across assigned scopes.

How to Qualify:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent experience.
  • Experience managing large-scale industrial, cleanroom, semiconductor, or other technical construction projects.
  • Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead multiple concurrent projects and make decisions with limited guidance.
  • Knowledge of construction safety regulations, building codes, and quality standards.

What Sets You Apart:
  • Professional certifications such as PMP, CCM, or equivalent.
  • Proficiency with construction management tools (e.g., Primavera P6, Procore, BIM platforms).
  • Experience with cleanroom environments, advanced manufacturing facilities, or highly regulated construction.
  • Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and conflict-resolution abilities.
  • Background in facilities operations or facility systems management.

The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:
$107,000.00 - $241,000.00 a year
Additional compensation may include benefits, bonuses and equity.
Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base pay for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training.
